Hegen’s revolutionary PPSU PCTO™ bottle allows you to Express, Store and Feed within a single container by simply swapping the bottle’s feeding head, storage lid and adapter to convert a feeding bottle into a breast milk storage container or pumping container without any transfer of milk. This minimizes wastage and reduces mess, making every drop count to promote seamless and sustainable breastfeeding.
Airtight and leak proof when using Hegen’s PCTO™ storage lids, the Hegen bottle grows with your child as it can be used for other storage needs. With the world’s first patented no screw thread closure, the Hegen Press-to-Close, Twist-to-Open (PCTO™) innovation allows the bottle to be pressed on and twisted off conveniently with zero spillage.
Its practical “soft-square” bottle design has myriad benefits – easy grip, space saving, and hassle free cleaning. Ergonomically shaped to be easier for babies to hold, the world’s first stackable feeding bottle nestles together when empty and stacks neatly when filled, optimizing storage space in the freezer or a mother’s bag. Usage & Cleaning
Yes, but top rack only.
Yes. Hegen bottles can undergo steam, microwave and UV sterilization. To be safe, we recommend waiting at least 15 minutes between sterilization cycles. As our PPSU bottles are able to withstand -20'C up to 180'C in temperature; please do remember to check that your sterilizer does not exceed the aforementioned temperature range.
We recommend waiting at least 15 minutes between sterilization cycles
To prolong the usage of our bottles, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle with detergent that is not diluted to ensure that all grease or oil residue is completely removed before undergoing any sterilization. Milk or oil residue that undergo heating processes may stain parts permanently. Please kindly remember to clean all sides as well as the base and covers of the bottles.
International standards recommend for PPSU bottles to be replaced every 6 months. Hegen bottles are designed to last and can be continually evolved to meet the different needs of the growing child. You can continue to use our bottles and convert it to snack cups as your baby grows. If there are any scratches or wear and tear observed on the bottles, we also recommend to have them replaced.
To be safe, we recommend replacing the teats every 3 months or if there are any signs of wear and tear.
Hegen bottles have an extremely wide mouth and minimal parts. Furthermore, as our bottle has absolutely no ridges, undercuts or hidden corners, you can quickly clean the Hegen bottle without the need of a bottle brush, avoiding scratches on the bottle. However, if you would like to, you can certainly use a bottle brush to clean your Hegen bottle. Please do remember to thoroughly clean not just the sides but also the base of the bottle.
Please do not boil bottles for more than 3 minutes.
Avoid opening storage containers immediately after taking out from the refrigerator or freezer. At lower temperatures, materials can sometimes experience contraction and expansion at different rates. Let the containers sit in open air for awhile to allow it to reach room temperature before opening. If you’re in a hurry, try pouring hot / warm water over the lid so that it can expand a little and loosen before opening. Alternatively, put storage containers in a bowl and pour hot water over it to reduce waiting time.
There could be many different reasons why the bottle components may become cloudy, stained or have a film of residue. It may become stained or cloudy from contact with ingredients in formula like iron or from juices, foods, cleaning products that contain natural or artificial coloring, water deposits, over boiling and daily use in a dishwasher. It is unlikely that staining or cloudiness will affect performance as long as the bottle and parts are in good condition.
Some of the advice we get from Moms on this topic include: • WHITE VINEGAR – Soak bottle in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, and then rinse with cold water. Many stains will disappear following this procedure, which can also eliminate odors. • BAKING SODA – Juice stains may be removed by putting baking soda and warm water in the bottle and cleaning with a bottle brush. To get rid of sour-milk smell, fill the bottle with warm water, add a teaspoon of baking soda, shake well, and let stand overnight.

Hegen feeding bottles and breast milk storage containers are leak proof. If it is leaking, it could be one of the following reasons:
1. The silicone seal is placed incorrectly.
2. The teat may be inputted incorrectly. In order to properly put the teat in, please align the anti-colic vents with the "Hegen" logo (or the higher part of the collar) and pull the teat through the collar until it fits snugly. If the teat can be pulled outwards, it is improperly assembled!
3. Sometimes during sterilization the teat may have been flipped. Please kindly check.
There has been reported incidences of sunken teats which is caused by blockage in the air vent. Blockage usually happens after the washing and drying process. Make sure that the lips of the air vents are not stuck together after washing or drying by massaging it gently with clean hands before use.
If the liquid in the bottle is above 158F (70C), the air pressure will force the fluid out from the sides of the bottle. This is a precautionary as the milk is too hot for consumption.
Proper assembly is required to ensure a leak free experience. Match the position of the anti colic air vent to the higher face of the collar with the Hegen logo, then pull the teat through the collar until it is snugly fitted (If you are able to pull the teat outwards through the collar, it is improperly assembled).
For an airtight, leak proof experience using Hegen breast milk storage containers, ensure the silicone seal is properly assembled. Please ensure the correct way is facing outward.
